Oh dear.

...and, in the ongoing saga of Mez's drink-related issues at work,

I MELTED MY DRINK BOTTLE

By accidentally filling it, not with cold filtered water, but with the next tap, which has boiling water.

It now has interesting ripples down one side, a no-longer-curved other side, and several dents from where my fingers were holding it at the time.

It wasn't the water, you really are that hot :-)

LOL! Ahem... You wouldn't happen to have a picture of that bottle, would you?

*waits with great anticipation for the next chapter of this unfortunate saga of epic proportions* ;)

Well, at least you didn't spill any over yourself or take a big swig.

But at least you didn't spill any on your fingers - which I probably would have...

Well this should make you feel better. I did the exact same thing last year except I put it under the boiling water tap on purpose. For some reason it never occurred to me that the plastic would melt at that temperature.

The bottle did look very cool afterwards.
