I always took a minimum of 10 pens (different colours) and 3 pencils to exams
One of my rituals on the first day of exams was to walk to the Caulfield Coles and buy a 10-pack of my favourite pens. Not because I wanted to be super-prepared or anything, but because I wanted to feel like I was :)
