I am now sitting at a new desk, on the other side of the building, with a completely different view. I am extremely close to the lifts, and a considerable hike from the kitchen.

I didn't really have a problem with moving, but I do now. You see, all my music was on the C drive of my old computer. Not a problem - just putting the files onto a USB should make it easy to transfer them. Right?

Wrong. My new computer refuses to let me use anything vaguely USB-related. I'm currently waiting to hear back from IT Help with a solution to this problem.

In the meantime, I have no music! Which is a real issue, because I can't concentrate without it! Doing work without a backing orchestra is just not a possibility.

I need my soundtracks!

Hey,

Have you considered Dig Radio on the ABC website? http://www.abc.net.au/dig
There's also Dig Jazz...

It may stave off the insanity temporarily =D

Oh I *completely* agree! On my ward there's a little radio that sings out 'soft FM' and 'classic delights' all day. It's great - the patients love it and all the staff get to have a sing along! Perfect way to work :D
