Found It!

For those who are interested:

In the Discworld novels, the first mention of seamstresses as... uh... doing something other than sewing clothes (if you get my meaning) is 15 books in, halfway through Men At Arms.

*goes back to reading*

Is an attentive book geek, at least.... But I'm always surprised how late the Watch books really get going - by extension, surprised at how late this is in the series.

You are very very clever. And the only person who got anywhere close to the right book. *applauds*

Oooh... New book...

Hadn't heard about it. (But then, I am hopelessly behind and haven't yet read Making Money or Wintersmith.)

*simpers modestly* Heh.

New book yay! Possibly the last book; which I don't want to think about :o(. I'm glad you've still got reading to come; the kids books don't quite do it for me, but Making Money is a gem.

Nods sagely, though I was off by miles, which I blame on reading out of order.
