Indecision

I am facing a dilemma of EPIC PROPORTIONS.

...well, not really.

But my jacket, which I have had for over a decade and wear every single day, is on the verge of collapse from old age, and I need to buy a new one.

My current jacket looks kind of like this.
(Note the handy pockets, and the shoulder-bit for extra rain protection.)

Now I have to make my Next Jacket decision - and figure out whether I want to buy something exactly like that one... or whether I want to get the ultra-cool double-layer jacket with the inner warm fleecy jacket and the outer light rain-protection jacket (but without the big big pockets or the shoulder thingy).

*angsts*

I've got a double one that I use for snow sports, but I like using each of the individual layers even more than i use the jacket as one piece. I especially love that the exterior is a great rain coat without the heavy lining for summeresque rain days where its humid and muggy, and I my fleece lining does have an exterior rain-resistant cover so I can use it for the cold dreary rain coming down here that isn't a downpour. Oh, and I have huge love of the massive pockets the exterior coat has and the extra ones on the inside of the fleece liner!
