Something similar happened to me about 16 months after I joined. And then I spent about 8 months being really, really unhappy.
But then I was moved again and ended up responsible for work that fascinates me and challenges me and makes my head hurt in a good way. So these things can lead to bigger and better things. Once you get over the "I don't know what I'm doing!" moments... :)
