Plus he recruits the one vampire Buffy (maybe wrongly as we'll see in S8) takes less seriously as a threat that chipped S5 Spike.
That's the thing about cute ditzy blonde girls like Harmony; nobody ever takes them seriously until it's too late.
Maybe someone should write a TV series about that idea...
