I was confused by your "laundry room" question.
I imagine several people will be. :)
In Australia, it's a very normal part of the house.
Also, in the kitchen, one can put food in the pantry, but if one has no pantry, then there is always the cupboard :)
So, there's a distinction in your mind between "cupboard we put all the food in" and "cupboard
designed
for putting food in"?
