Andrew's an interesting one. Guy who used to hang around with a good guy (Jonathan), gradually went bad, and now is hanging out with the Gang and being quite helpful. Although not everyone wants him there.
You could make an argument for Skip or Gwen, but I think I'll have to go with Faith.
Which begs the question: when Faith is on BtVS, who's her AtS equivalent? Well, she's pretty much on an equal footing (ability-wise) with The Hero, isn't entirely trusted by anyone, thinks that no matter how serious things are, people should be having more fun, and has quite a bit of chemistry with The Hero (and with everyone else, from time to time).
