And I too use the word cabinet instead of cupboard. I think my grandma sometimes uses cupboard though...

The "doors" and not door, is what confused me :)

Although, there are closets with sliding doors...but usually, what comes to mind is just the one.

Mine has two that meet in the middle and fold out on slider thingies in the top. It's good for flinging open dramatically when you don't know what to wear.
