Apparently I have knock knees and flat feet, and desperately need orthotics. (I also need new shoes.)


I don't know about you, but "knock knees" always puts me in mind of fictional orphans wearing hand-me-down gingham dresses and gazing wistfully out the window at all the society girls going to tennis parties...
(Yes, I read a lot of very old novels.)

"Flat feet" doesn't put me in mind of anything, really. But knock knees are appropriately fictional.


Knock knees and whooping cough, all within a month! My campaign to become a romantic fictional character is going well.

Flat feet makes me think of reasons you can't join the Army. :)

I've got flat feet too. I'm going back to the podiatrist as soon as I find out if I've got an arthritic condition or not.
