Welcome to the wonderful world of vidding. That was pretty good - I especially liked the way the opening sequence set the mood, with the matched images and lyrics on "wanna go for a ride?" at 0.08 and "you can brush my hair" at 0.19 with Spike sniffing April's ear.
Including Katrina in with the Aprilbot and Buffybot? Controversial. :-)
So so SO very exciting, indeed! I think I seriously squee'd when I saw your little "Robot Girlfriend by Mezzanine" thing.
Very fun video - I especially liked some of the juxtapositions between vocal lines/images (I'll beg on my knees with Katrina about to on her, uh, knees with Warren) and the phase-ins or whatever you call them - matchy things with April and Buffy.
Most awesome! I like the whole thing, and am bad about picking out good vid bits. But! I really like the "imagination, your creation" with the box full o' Buffy, and the funny BtVS spin on "let's go party". Heh.
Ummm... (goes to watch it again) Well, here are the bits that have made me smile every time I've watched it (which is possibly into double figures by now):
1) That first bit where Spike kisses Buffy, "It's fantastic", and she smiles.
2) Buffy smiling when Giles looks round.
These two moments are beautifully timed.
3) That monster sticking knives out of its fingers.
Because I love how the vid sets the scene for a while, then once the "Let's go party" fightingness starts, and especially the last part, it just turns into this awesome 'monster! pretty smile! violence! smoochy kiss! weird glowy thing!' unreal brilliant montage. And it gets so good and it's still slightly been in smiley overload and suddenly there's this monster in amongst it all which makes me grin every time. That section feels to me like you're communicating what you love about the show and what the show is like to watch. And makes me want to watch it more.
I'm sure I've got some insightful and specific feedback to offer, but first..

Anyway: 1. Buffy Bot's robotic, overenthusiastic grin always makes me grin. 2. The bit with Willow's stats at 0:50 [Gay (1999-present)] actually made me snort out loud. (Which, while it wasn't very attractive, is the only way I could think to express the realness of that laugh..) 3. I second love for the 1:30 bit where Giles looks around, and the Buffy Bot grins ridiculously. 4. At the 2 minute part, the "you can say I'm always yours" while Buffy Bot is looking at such a sad Spike made me pout a little.. (In a good, angsty way of course.) 5. 2:22, April growls!! 6. 2:35, Dawn in bed with the Buffy Bot.. -sniffle- 7. I really liked the ending, with Buffy and April set to such happy music.
