I think she would. Buffy had self esteem issues, even without the slayer ablities, which compounded them. They may have made them more complex, but, in CWDP, she not only had feelings of superiourity, probably from being a slayer, but also inferioririty. If she comparied her self to Willow, even without magic, that would still be there.

Leaving aside her parents breaking up, the suddent death of ther mother (not magic) would also have an effect. Especially as she was the one who found her.
