Faith with a big knife Melee weapons beat missile weapons every time.
Giles, wielding the mighty power of library books This is the Buffyverse. Did Wesley ever manage to kill anything with that shotgun?
Oz Canon. (Though for all we know she could still turn up in the comics.)
Dana Remember her grin when she realised what Spike was? Dru's dust.
Miss Edith She's watched Dru for who knows how long. She's bound to have picked up a few things. Plus, thumbs.
Glory Both would have to feed eventually. Jasmine grows weak when she doesn't feed. Glory just gets crazy.
The Mayor He's what you might call impervious.
the claddagh ring If Buffy has only taught us one thing, it's that crayons break.
Illyria Assuming she's at full power and doesn't piss Willow of by killing anyone Willow likes. Like... um... Fred, I suppose... uh... can I change my vote?
1. Buffy shoots at Faith; Faith grabs the bolt in mid-air. Faith tries to stab Buffy; Buffy blocks the blow and knocks away the knife. They hit each other a bunch of times, then they grapple and fall to the floor, wrestling, Buffy straddles Faith, and then...
Sorry, where were we?
2. Given time to prepare, Giles.
3. Oz is too laid back to fight effectively. Exception: if Willow is in danger then Oz would win.
4. Drusilla is a vampire. Dana is a vampire slayer.
5. Miss Edith could beat him blindfolded. Well, she'd have to.
6. Glory would be forced to admit that Jasmine is almost as fantastic as her.
7. All those contracts with demons the Mayor signed? Guess who negotiated them, and holds the paperwork.
8. Claddagh rings are just tacky.
9. Illyria would punch Willow through a wall. Willow would get up, heal her injuries, and drain all Illyria's power.
Entirely intentional. I have no problem with people choosing them from whatever point in time they wish to...
You really think Illyria would definitely win against Willow? I mean yeah, she's got all the time-slowing and dimensiony stuff, but this is Willow we're talking about. Little Miss raise-the-Slayer, shift-everyone-who-isn't-a-fifteen-year-old-girl-into-an-alternate-dimension, give-myself-super-strength, oh-and-by-the-way-I-can-hurt-frigging-OSIRIS herself...

Hee!

They really are.

Buffyverse crossbows are designed for very short range (or the bolts would just pass right through the vamps). If Buffy is really far away, she won't be able to hit Faith. And once they get closer, she'll have time to get off one, maybe two shots. Though I like stormwreath's idea.

Ain't no way Gina Torres doesn't kick the butt of any female in the Whedonverse, goddess or no.

Giles would so own an Early Wesley, and pre-powersuck Illiria would absolutely own Willow, but not after they drain her.
Claddagh would win just because of physics.

Of course, Nina has a much more bad-ass wolf form than Oz does...

Very true...
Both would have to feed eventually. Jasmine grows weak when she doesn't feed. Glory just gets crazy.
Good point.
Although there is the ever-present danger that Glory might turn into Ben halfway through the battle.

I don't remember who the toys are at all. Which vampire slayer is Dana?

(Isn't Illyria fun?)
Mr Gordo is Buffy's stuffed pig, and Miss Edith is Drusilla's favourite doll.
Dana is the psychotic Slayer from Angel. Remember, the episode where Spike lost his hands?
