Commenters on this post seemed very split on whether they sympathised with Kate or Justine (no-one really seemed to sympathise with both).

Yeah, Kate's definitely a litmus character for me. Someone can dislike her--fine. But if they start ranting about how awful she was, I seem to take it personally.

Same with me and Darla. :)
