Let's see what I can remember...

-Thursday was Christmas. This involved fun, frivolity, and lots of wrapping paper.

-On Friday, Mum, Dad, and I went to Geelong to visit my grandmother. My cousin was also there, so I got to see her for the first time in ages. I spent most of the day experimenting with my new camera. (I have a camera! Yay! ...that's still exciting.)

-Saturday morning, I got to see my sisters, and both my nephews. We all played with Alex's new train set (well, some bits are new, anyway), and made a fantastically complex track with bridges and turntables and everything - it took up most of the floor.

-On Sunday, I went down to Portsea with some friends, and we all went swimming in the back-beach. Insanely powerful waves (I kept being swept off my feet and couldn't stand up again), and I'm rather sunburnt.

-On Monday, Mum and I babysat Caleb, who is just adorable, and becoming more so every day.

-And yesterday, all of us (minus Dad, who was at work) went to the Aquarium together. Caleb saw king penguins for the first time, and delighted everyone in earshot by yelling out "HI PENGUIN! HI! HI PENGUIN!" through the glass. Both boys were incredibly fascinated by the sharks.

-So far today, I have watched soppy movies and cried, eaten crumpets, patted Elf (who's been feeling slightly neglected with me being out all week), and tried to write fic (no luck so far).
I also need to decide whether to be totally insane and stay up til midnight, or completely boring and go to bed despite it being New Year's Eve...
