Also, if you're reading a fic by me that's extremely silly, I was probably really depressed and annoyed at the world when I wrote it. Similarly, if I'm writing something dark and angsty, I'm probably grinning the entire time...
Me, too! I only write silly crackfic when I'm stressed out beyond belief. The angst almost always flows when I'm just fine and dandy.
