Well, I met a whole bunch of people who are more geeky than me...
A bunch of Buffy cast members were in Melbourne today, and I went along. Very fun!
And they were selling a HUGE bunch of stuff, including:
-autographs
-photos
-action figures
-commemorative plates
-trading cards
-posters advertising shows/movies
-posters advertising conventions
-posters advertising trading cards
-puppets
-mugs/caps/tshirts
-scripts
-cds
Most people were loading up with massive amounts of everything, and I felt very out of place, because my natural reaction was "Ooh! A poster advertising some trading cards! Oh Joy! WHY WOULD I WANT TO BUY THAT?!" and everyone else thought they were really cool...
Having Q&A sessions with the cast was fun, though. And they showed a bunch of short films and tv shows as well. If I'd stayed for another hour I could have seen the first episode of season three of Veronica Mars - but I haven't seen the first season yet, so I decided not to.
