Underneath The Tree
Dec. 11th, 2007 02:11 pmI think I might have finished my Christmas shopping. Maybe.
The thing about having nephews is that they like presents. They really like presents, in the jump-up-and-down-yelling-excitedly-and-waving-wrapping-paper-around sense of the word. So, being the doting aunt I am, I naturally want to give them heaps of exciting presents for them to rave over.
Also, I haven't had anyone little to buy presents for in a very long time. I'd forgotten how incredibly fun their stuff is.
I went to a toy store the other day, looking for ideas, and ended up running round the store, squealing over all the fun-fun-fun things that were there, and wishing desperately that I had space in my house to take the store home with me. While that wasn't possible, I did end up taking home two presents for Caleb and Alex, and five other purchases...
If I was one of those very mature people who really can't relate to the children any more, my bank account would be much better off.
