At GWAC this morning, there was a woman going around taking photos of people for the newsletter. And she came over and introduced herself: "Hi, I'm Lisa, and I have the spiritual gift of irritating people."


In other news, I'm re-reading Emma, and the other night I reached the part where Emma and Mr Elton get into the carriage, and Mr Elton proceeds to "make violent love to her". I've read my fair share of Jane Austen over the years, and I already knew the plot of Emma, but still - my first thought on reading that passage was definitely NOT the one intended by the author...
