I am guilty of being the bride that told her girls to pick out their own dresses- but I told them to make it blue. Because blue? Honestly does not clash with anything. It is really the only color that doesn't. It's also the only color that will look good on everyone, and that doesn't clash with itself.

Stylewise, I told them, again, anything they want, but requested it be modest. No short skirts, and no cleavage, and I retain the right to stick an undershirt under the dress, or a pair of pants under the dress, or a scarf or shawl over it.
