Domestic Amnesia

I did an underwear wash this morning, because I'd run out of clean socks. And socks being fairly essential, especially since the weather's getting cold for some reason, I decided I had to wash my clothes even though I had hardly anything in my dirty clothes basket.

I just walked into my living room, and saw, in plain sight, right where it's been for the past three days, a clothes horse full of clean socks and underwear from the last wash I did. And somehow, because my socks weren't in my wardrobe like usual, I managed to completely forget about them even though they've been right in front of me the entire time...
