My cat has a new game. He hunts my feet.
You see, being corporeal, I tend to make a big lump under the covers when I'm in bed. Being hyperactive, the "feet" parts of the lump tend to move around quite a bit. Which my cat thinks is fantastic.
I'll be lying there, half awake, and I'll suddenly feel this rather heavy object land on top of my foot. So I'll move my foot out of the way, only to feel it happen again. Then I'll look up, and see my cat wriggling his bottom in that funny way they always do when they're getting ready to pounce.
The next move really depends on how grumpy I am at being woken up. I'll either shove him off the bed and snuggle down into my pillow again, or I'll start whipping my feet around in interesting ways and see if he can beat his previous foot-hunting record. At which point he generally decides that this is now entertaining me, and therefore not entertaining him, and he saunters off to eat some breakfast...

Of course, when they jump in your lap while you're having ice cream, letting little grey hairs float into your bowl, they're not so great.
