deird_ljMy cat is bored to tears and meowing piteously. He really wants to go outside, but can't because it's raining far too much. Yes folks, autumn has finally hit - just in time for winter.
In other autumny news, the trees in the city have started dropping leaves by the thousand. On my way to the train station last night, I literally had to wade through all the orangey leaves.
I had people over for dinner last night. It's quite depressing spending hours cleaning up in preparation for company and knowing perfectly well that the next day your house will look like a train wreck, just because of the MASSIVE stack of dishes that need doing.
But I forbear. I see this not as a hardship, but as an opportunity to watch copious amounts of television while getting my house clean again. Yay!
And finally...
