Allright, awright, awright. Give me some brand names of the stuff that I'm looking for - the cordial, lemonade, and bitters. Apparently there are about a billion different meanings for each of those words, and without something specific... anyway.
I'm gonna have to hit up World Market one of these days and see if I can find any of it.
2) Lime Cordial - not sure of any specific brand names, but if you get some high quality lime cordial or lime juice, that'd be about right.
3) Lemony stuff Hmm... This is the confusing one, because Australia uses the words "lemonade" and "lemon squash" differently to the rest of the world, and I'm not sure how you would use them. Think very, very lemony stuff, as a fizzy drink.
Um... By "fizzy drink" I mean soda (or whatever you call it in MS).
Anyway, the drink is: -mostly very fizzy lemony stuff -plus a small amount of lime cordial -plus a very small amount of bitters
When it's all put together (un-stirred), it should look yellow up the top, and red down the bottom.
Yeah, "lemonade" for us is lemon juice, sugar, and water. It has the potential to be mouth-puckeringly awesome or ultra lame. Chic-Fil-A is the only place that I know of that gets it right every time, but if my husband takes a sip it turns his face inside out :D
The closest things I can come up with for lemony fizzy stuff would be Sprite or 7-up, neither of which are terribly lemony, to me anyway...
and in MS, anything fizzy is called a "coke." In the North, anything fizzy is called a "pop." Me, I call it a carbonated beverage. :D
I would suggest Solo, but apparently that's only found in Australia. (You're right - Sprite is definitely not lemony enough. You need something about as lemony as you could imagine...)

For us, "lemonade" is basically Sprite. "Lemon squash", on the other hand, is very-lemony-stuff-that's-also-fizzy.

Ah, right. I can never keep track of which parts of the US use which terms. Here, we call them "soft drinks" or "fizzy drinks"...
