Ikea!

It never fails: I go to Ikea to buy a specific piece of furniture, and come home with five impulse purchases.

This time, in fact, I didn't actually get the bit I was there for. They were sold out (which, given Christmas and all, is understandable).

I do love Ikea. Just getting to be in a furniture shop is fun enough, but this one has cutlery! And cushions! And kids toys! And ultra foldable storage! And tools!
They actually sell tool sets right there at the checkout so that you can buy tools to put your new furniture together with.

...and I just stand there in a blissful dream.


Sidenote: I saw a woman with the funkiest tattoo ever. She had some sheet-music-style musical notes spiralling up her leg. I came very close to asking her what tune it was.

Last (and my first, actually) time I went, I went looking for jars, and couldn't find a single decent one.

Not fair... there are NO IKEAs between my parents in Missouri and my home in Mississippi!

I can only hope that my mom-in-law will be willing to stop by when we're in southern Florida.
