I'll commit to doing at least five drabbles, but if everyone stumps me, I might have to give up on doing any more than that...

Process of elimination:
-"she" had to be Buffy, Willow, Dawn, Tara, Fred, Cordelia, Joyce (etc, etc...)
-Out of all of those, Buffy and Fred are the two I'm most likely to describe as looking at someone "blankly".
-Which meant it was either Not The Way It Works, or something with Buffy in it.
-If Buffy's interacting with a man, it's either Xander, Spike, Giles, or an OC (Angel and Riley being discounted on the fact that I've never had them interacting with Buffy, really).
-The Slow Slip Into Wonderful Nothing gives ample opportunity for Buffy to be baffled, by making her drunk...
