Remember my wonderfully delicious looseleaf tea?

Well, I have a policy of not having more than two cups of tea a day. And I already had tea at home this morning, so I'm not allowed to have another one until later.

This, though, is not deterring me at all.

I am currently sitting at my desk, entering numbers into a spreadsheet, with the open box of tea in front of me - so that I can sniff at it enthusiastically in between typing.

It just smells so nice!

I'm sure you don't look strange at all...:D

Know what you mean, though - tea smells yummy!

And fuck if I'm ever going to regularly drink the stuff, but damn, I so need to hire someone to brew pots of coffee around me all day so I can take whiffs of it whenever. Cause, um, hot damn, it smells delish. And tastes like utter shit.

I do that with coffee, now that I've started drinking it...I'll go to the cupboard, inhale from the bag of beans, sigh, and go away again.
It's sad, isn't it?

I do that with coffee, because I don't drink it. I love the smell, hate the taste.

Ahh...see, that was me, up until a few months ago.
Loved coffee-flavoured things, but *real* coffee? Blargh. Nasty bitter strong stuff.
Looooved the smell of a cup of it though. And of freshly-ground beans. And beans in general.
I happened to try an Iced Coffee one warm day, and mm, it was kinda nice. Sweet, and milky, and not too coffee-ish. Gave me a bit of a buzz too, so I had one a few weeks later...again, not bad...
Then one day I decided I'd try to make an instant coffee at home, since we had no iced coffee (and the weather was a bit cold anyway). And lo, it was mainly milk and sugar, but I was impressed. I could drink 'coffee'! (I use the term loosely as there was very little actual coffee in it...)
From there, with Winter in full swing, I was back to my cup of tea every night, but one day tried a coffee again...
And have been liking them (how I make them) ever since.
I've still never bought a coffee in a shop, only ever made my own instant at home, and have had all of about one cup of 'real' brewed coffee with my parents, and that was a bit strong...but yes, I like coffee now. :-)

Hmm... Maybe I should try iced coffee?

Maybe you should!
Some are quite strong, but the one I had was pretty nice...let's see, what brand was it...
Ah, here we are: http://www.bigmedge.com.au/

Mark used to take them on the train as a breakfast, so there were always some around the house...now he just makes his own with instant coffee, sugar, protein powder, and milk. :-p

Oh, I don't even like coffee-flavored things. I used to try that "putting lots of stuff in it so it doesn't taste like coffee" method, but then I realized, "Hey, why drink mochas when I can just drink hot chocolate and avoid the yucky coffee aftertaste?" (And who cares if I sound like a five-year-old ordering at Starbucks?)

I can force myself to drink it if I have to (like if I'm at dinner and someone pours me a cup before I can decline), but I'd rather just avoid it altogether. :)

I'm.... pretty sure that still counts as a cup.

I would like to add that, while I enjoy coffee in Australia, American coffee brewed in those pots was the most revolting stuff imaginable.
