A Muddle

Is this what being dyslexic feels like?

I am trying to read a document which contains three kinds of text:
- words which were in the original document, but should not be in the new one
- words which were in the original document, and should still be in the new one
- words which have been added to the new document

Not sentences, mind you. WORDS. Each different kind is underlined with a different number of lines, so that you can tell which is which. If you try reading it without any underlining, you end up with something that sounds sort of like this:

"Once upon a time, there was Little Red Riding Hood went a beautiful for a walk to visit girl named Cinderella her grandmother. She was To get to grandmother's very sweet, but house, she had to live with walk through a wicked forest where there was stepmother and a big bad wolf. It would have two ugly stepsisters. been safer to ride, but She did all the household chores, and not have a horse, because slept by the fireplace. her family was Poor Cinderella!"

An update on Mez

So, outside of vague ramblings on work, how is my life going?

My nephew has started pulling himself up on furniture and pushing things along the floor. My other nephew/niece is scheduled to arrive any day between now and mid-February.

My best friend has just left the state for the next three months. Much lamenting...

As soon as I have handed in a report on my "vacation work" (otherwise known as my job), I will be able to graduate.

My friend from church is engaged, and is getting married at the end of March. This provides me with at least two parties to attend, which is quite nice. I am expecting N to be at the engagement party, thus providing more fodder for the continuing soap opera of my love-life and lack thereof.

I am currently looking for somewhere to live, and someone to live with. Next year I will be moving in with Carrot, but her insane desire to do a course based in Adelaide means that won't be happening until December. I'll probably go insane if I don't leave home before then!

The weather continues fine.
