Socially Insane

What kind of person sees someone she knows, and likes, and is actually quite good friends with, and hides up the other end of the train station so that she won't have to sit on the train with them and make conversation?
I like L, and yet I found myself hiding in the station entrance until the train arrived, terrified that she'd see me, because then I'd have to TALK to her!

Do non-ADDers do this too, or is it just us freaky people?

A few of you may know that my "friends" list contains Thiel, the guy who gave a flower to a different person every day for a year.

A significantly larger portion of you would know that I write poetry (among other things).

How are these two connected?

Well, before his floral obsession, Thiel produced "a year in iambic pentameter". Just now, I got bored enough to click on the link to buy his book about this, just to look at the website it was on.
And, I discovered that the website he sells his book from is a SELF PUBLISHING WEBSITE.

I am now frantically forming ideas of publishing books of poetry, short story compilations, and, oh yes, the piece of piano music I wrote.

Of course, it will be probably be another decade before I actually do anything about this, but it's such a lovely idea...
