Ask me one fandom-related question in the comments. This can be fandom specific, general, or about fandom/lj stuff/fic writing/etc. in general. Favorite character, favorite moment, unpopular opinion, something about a fic of mine... whatever. Subparts allowed. Wackiness encouraged.
Go nuts!

Date: 2010-01-05 08:50 am (UTC)My favourite characters:
Anya, Fred, Andrew, Darla, Lilah, Wesley.
Whereas, from looking at my fic list, it seems the characters I'm most likely to write about are Buffy, Dawn, and Willow. (surprise, surprise!)
I think the main reason I don't write about Anya and Fred is because I get Anya and Fred. They're pretty much like me. I can write about major stuff happening to them (if that's interesting - like, for instance, Pylea) but I have no real need to explore their characters, or find out what they're like.
Whereas, with Buffy, it took me several thousand words of fic before I could figure out her character at all...
And with Dawn and Willow, as well as trying to explore who they are, they also have some very interesting histories to deal with. (Dark Willow, and Dawn being the Key.) So they're fun.
