So, yesterday I was in a singlet top and short shirt, and still far too hot.
...and today I went shopping at lunchtime and stocked up on jumpers and long-sleeved stuff. And then frantically changed in the work toilets so that I could stop freezing.
Isn't it supposed to be summer around here?

Date: 2010-02-05 03:36 am (UTC)Pfft, cold climates. Although the 40s aren't friendly. We get hit by them once every couple of years. :( 25 degrees is ideal!
. . . you must've REALLY loved the snow Melbourne got in 2005. :)

Last month of Summer, hooray!
I'm cheering up already. Bring on the cold weather and rain and wind and hail and fireplaces and cups of tea and soups and baking and snuggling-up-with-new-bunnies!
(Well, for me. Take out the fireplace, and insert 'snuggling-up-with-old-cat' for you.)

Date: 2010-02-07 03:23 am (UTC)I do SO agree with you!!! I breathe such a sigh of relief in about mid March. Do you realise this time last year we'd just gone through that week of 40 plus? Horrible. Only three more weeks!
