Cold!

So, yesterday I was in a singlet top and short shirt, and still far too hot.

...and today I went shopping at lunchtime and stocked up on jumpers and long-sleeved stuff. And then frantically changed in the work toilets so that I could stop freezing.

Isn't it supposed to be summer around here?

I think the weather's trying to apologising for those 42 degrees last month and going at it horribly.

Is it okay to friend you? :D

I just hope it keeps going - I'd love to not get over 40 for the rest of the summer... *is designed for a colder climate*

Friending is always welcome.

YAYAYAY Friended. I DO take my stalking seriously. That means that leaves are involved, and greens -- ooh, salad. Nom.

Pfft, cold climates. Although the 40s aren't friendly. We get hit by them once every couple of years. :( 25 degrees is ideal!

. . . you must've REALLY loved the snow Melbourne got in 2005. :)

Edit: Done stalking. I knew you were love-worthy!

I dont remember snow in 2005??

I just love going into work where the aircon is keeping a frigid 10-12o C at my desk...

Mmmm, I'm loving it. Forecast for here is 28-29C all week, down to 24 by end of week, with rain developing. I can cope with that.
I'd prefer more like 23 or below, but then that's me. :-)
Last month of Summer, hooray!
I'm cheering up already. Bring on the cold weather and rain and wind and hail and fireplaces and cups of tea and soups and baking and snuggling-up-with-new-bunnies!
(Well, for me. Take out the fireplace, and insert 'snuggling-up-with-old-cat' for you.)

New bunnies? Are there new bunnies, or are they hypothetical bunnies?

*is loving the cold weather*

Oh, they are as yet hypothetical. :-)
But they will be here one day soon, I hope. I miss having bunnies!

Yup, cold weather rules. It's so...useful!

"Last month of Summer, hooray!"

I do SO agree with you!!! I breathe such a sigh of relief in about mid March. Do you realise this time last year we'd just gone through that week of 40 plus? Horrible. Only three more weeks!

Yep, when it finally starts cooling down and you think of all the things to which you can look forward... :-)
Yep, a year since Black Saturday. 47C. Hopefully never again. :-(
