Just a reminder:

If you comment anonymously, there are three ways to get your comment unscreened.
1) tell me who you are.
2) tell me how you found my post.
or
3) write something so unbelievably COOL that I decide to unscreen it anyway.

IT'S NOT THAT HARD. (Well, the first two, anyway.)

Anonymous comments from anonymous people who don't even tell me how they got here or why they're reading my post? Those are screened. Pretty much permanently.

1) I'm [livejournal.com profile] me_llamo_nic.

2) I found your post because I added you to my Flsit a while back. Essentially found you through [livejournal.com profile] gabrielleabelle and your posts amused me.

3) I'm commenting anonymously (as opposed to un-anonymously) because I am a snarky bastard. =P

Also, is that icon from 'Bring on the Night'? I just finished watching that episode like 10 seconds ago.

...I think calling yourself a snarky bastard probably counts as unbelievably cool. :)

I'm not actually sure when the icon is from (except that it's at some point in season 7). So... possibly?

=D

And 'Bring on the Night' is S7, so probably. It's the only time I can recall Anya wearing glasses anyway...

I would comment anonymously in some ironic attempt at humor, but then I'd have to log out and then log back in again and it all sounds very taxing and time-consuming. So let's just pretend I did that and that it was extraordinarily clever as well as unoriginal as [livejournal.com profile] me_llamo_nic just did that minus the laziness.

Oh, and I love your Anya-taskmaster icon! So serious. :P

Isn't that icon great! (It's what I think of as my "stern face" icon.)

I am SO tempted to post a random anon comment just so I can be screened...

To be honest, I replied to someone on one of your threads, but I forgot that I was not signed in. However, once I figured that out, the comment was posted, and slated for approval, so there was no way I could erase it. I did, however, go back, sign in, and leave basically the same comment again.

I know (or hope) that this isn't directed at me, but I just wanted to let you know that sometimes that happens. I have done it a few times, not realizing I am signed off.

Judging by IPs, no, not directed at you. :)

I must have a more boring journal - I only get comments from people I know! No one else bothers!!

Sorry, I think that that was at least partially directed at me, for my comment on your latin names post, about when and how the son's names work out...I never log into LJ from work, since I really don't want any of the work computers to show any kind of record of my LJ's existence, but I also forgot to put my name on that one...now will you just answer the damn question already, it is bugging me!! Uh... what question?

(I really don't bother remembering what anons say - not for very long, anyway.)

you mentioned how the naming of daughters works, but not sons. I asked how it works for sons and if they become smith "something specific to them" at what age that happens, because if it was from birth, you would think that everyone would be called "smith cries a lot" ect, and if it is later in life what do the sons get called until they have some differentiating title? this is bugging me a lot now! Ah, right.

Well, for instance, say your family is the Caesar family.

- Every single man in the entire family is called Caesar.
- Every single man in your particular clan is called Julius Caesar.
- And your family call you Gaius.

So, in the example I gave earlier, John Smith Bignose would have a son called Fred Smith Bignose. And outsiders would call them both Smith Bignose.

It's quite simple, really.

I searched for Fuffy pics and found your icon. I then clickeded on your page and found that more hilarities ensued. So now I follows and hope for hilarity to continue always. Yes?
