Frustration

I want a job where I never have to deal with people, under any circumstances!
I have spent the better part of three days putting together a powerpoint presentation for my team to use next week. What this basically involves is:
1) getting info from each team member
2) figuring out how to fit it all together
3) formatting it so that everyone's contribution looks the same
4) adding pretty pictures
I have spent hours upon hours staring at my computer, wishing that I had a mallet so that I could dispose of this blasted presentation and stop it from taunting me with its lack of coherent layout.
Finally, finally, I get it all together, so that it doesn't look like I've just copy-and-pasted without thinking. And I calmly print it out, and distribute copies so that my team members can check that I've transcribed their notes correctly.
Did you catch that?
Let me repeat: so that they can check that I've transcribed their notes correctly.
Apparently I did transcribe everything properly. At least, I assume so, given the lack of feedback on that topic. However, I have had five people (out of seven) visit my desk to insist that the whole presentation needs to be formatted the way that theirs originally was, before I sullied their handiwork by daring to alter the font.
Grrrr!
Not Happy Jan.
