Date: 2008-07-04 02:26 pm (UTC)I have a question, and I hope you don't mind me asking. I've noticed that with your stories oftentimes there are not spaces between the paragraphs, but then other times there are. I was wondering why. I know for me, it makes my eyes work harder to track and read when the spaces are missing.

Date: 2008-07-04 08:22 pm (UTC)That would be the fault of my computers, actually. My home computer puts in spaces, and my work computer doesn't. And most of my fic starts out on my work computer...
I am starting (slowly...) to repost some of my fic on gen_storyteller from my home computer, specifically so that I can put spaces in...

Date: 2008-07-05 06:17 am (UTC)I'm not sure if this trick will make a difference or not, but what I've started doing when I'm working in Word is to not use a 'hard' return, but a 'soft' one. When I go to separate paragraphs, I hold down the shift key before hitting return. It creates a different type of return and seems to translate between when put into LJ html.
