Get Fit With Frasier!

I have decided to get fit. Or at least fitter.
So tonight, I watched some episodes of Frasier, and did sit-ups, and push-ups, and powerwalking (on the spot - I don't have a walking machine, or anything).
I feel very accomplished.
Unfortunately, my cat has decided that I'm really interesting when I'm lying on the floor doing stuff.
I managed to keep him from standing on my stomach during the sit-ups, but as soon as I started doing push-ups he started walking underneath me. And he discovered that, if he timed it correctly, he could get his back under me just as I was lowering myself towards the floor - which apparently feels to him like a really nice pat.
He was getting patted to his heart's content, and I was getting exercise. Which I guess is a win-win.
Except that I spent most of the time hoping desperately that I wasn't going to accidentally squash him...

It was great to see you today, btw! *hugs*

Date: 2008-08-09 08:29 pm (UTC)See, the distraction thing is why I was watching Frasier: I've seen it a million times before, so I won't need to watch it as avidly as I'd watch something new.
Plus, it's broken up into five minutes segments by the title-cards, so I have nice clear "switch to sit-ups now" signals...

Date: 2008-08-09 10:57 am (UTC)It needs a bit of a fix, because something is making the conveyor belt stick a bit (which is why it ended up under the house after I got sick of Matt not getting around to fixing it).
I think you'd find it easier than we do to work out what's causing the problem. Anyway, you can have it if you want it. You've got more room for it in your place (you can wheel it from one room to another easily enough).
