Alex can now recognise the whole alphabet - capital letters and small - and say what sound they make. He can also tell me that C is for Caleb.
I was round at my sister's house yesterday, and Alex and I spent half an hour putting little wooden letters away in their box. It took half an hour because we couldn't just put them away - we had to look at each one, and discuss what letter it was, and tip it upside down to see if it made another letter as well, and work out whether P was actually P or was T instead, and decide whether K really stood for Alex, and find other letters that looked sort of the same...
I know I should have been bored, but I couldn't stop watching my lovely nephew enjoying words so much! He's just so fantastic!
*sighs happily*
