Does the rest of the world seriously NOT have lemon lime and bitters?

(By which I mean the drink known as LL&B - I'm aware that you guys have lemons.)

*waves arm in teh air* Ooh, i tried drinking Bitters straight once, when I was young and desperate for a drink....
NEVER again.
Blargh.

I like it 'cause it's like a more grown-up thing to ask for than 'oh, i'll just have a softdrink *sigh*' at a pub/ bar...

I had one once that was awful though, I swear the lady had never made one before. She used soda water instead of lemonade. SODA water. Ewwww....I gave it back, and asked for it to be made with lemonade....and watched her make it this time...

But yes, they rock. And look so pretty!

I know! They're so very pretty!

That's why I hate it when people make them and STIR them before giving them to me. You have to get the chance to see the whole thing with the yellow up the top, and the red down the bottom...

...and teh bottled ones, thought tasting similar, aren't a patch on the freshly-poured ones.

...if you live in land that has lemony lemonade, and Bitters, and lime cordial, you're set, no need to travel.
If not...well, things can always be mailed. I sent a bottle of Red Cordial to a friend in the US because she had no idea what cordial was...let alone Red cordial... :-)
